Suggestions for creating the perfect playlist

Typically, I suggest that couples choose:

-two different musical selections for the wedding party processional- one for the seating of the grandparents/ parents, and one for the procession of the wedding party (just one selection will suffice if your wedding party is small)
-one musical selection for the bridal processional
-one musical selection for the recessional for the couple's exit down the aisle
-(optional) one music selection for the lighting of a unity candle/ pouring of sand / god's knot / prayer during the ceremony

For the prelude, I will play about 30 minutes of light classical and romantic pop songs while the guests are being seated. I suggest that couples skim my pop repertoire and let me know of any preferences they have for their prelude.

Tips:
  • Most of these songs work equally well for different parts of the ceremony
  • Follow your gut- choose songs that speak to you.
  • Most of the repertoire listed on my site can be arranged and played in duo with violin or voice. Most duo music can also be played on solo harp.
  • I take special requests! Depending on the number of requests and time requirements necessary to learn a new piece, I might charge an additional fee.
  • I have an extensive list of Christian hymns and some Jewish wedding music not listed here, so just ask me!
